VITAE International Accounting Services Pvt.Ltd. formerly known as AKT Business Process Outsourcing Pvt. Ltd. was established on 4th September, 2003, jointly promoted by AKT Services LLC, Portland, USA, Lucas Andrew Tatone, a young American …and Daniel Victor, an Indian Chartered Accountant. Its beginnings were in Navi Mumbai where its registered office and first unit of operation was established.

Right from the word ‘go’, VITAE realized its destiny as a service providing partner to accounting firms overseas to meet the newly rising needs of accounting firms for skilled, competent and stable human resources to handle accounting, tax and audit work and responsibilities to support their business goals in a technology driven and influenced, converging world, with heightened levels of interdependencies.

VITAE has grown from its small beginnings from an office in CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai in 2003 and an office in an incubation facility offered by PSG STEP Software Park in Peelamedu, Coimbatore in June 2004 to its current facility in New Siddhapudur, Coimbatore in October 2008 and now an additional facility in Excellence, Race Course Road in Coimbatore and its registered office in CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai.  VITAE’s staff numbers have grown from about 5 in 2003 to close to 200 as of date.

To align VITAE’s business to the long term interests of clients, VITAE’s ownership to the extent held by AKT , the American accounting firm, got shared in 2012 among firms that had established deep interest in the service offering of VITAE and today VITAE ‘s Board is chaired by an Australian Chartered Accountant Malcolm Di Giulio.

Today, VITAE is an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified company, operating under the Software Technology Parks Scheme of the Government of India and is a matter of great interest to people interested in working in the fields of tax, accounting, audit and pension and also to accounting firms who are choosing to harness the resources available outside their geographical boundaries.
